New Philadelphia Moravian Preschool, founded in 1978, offers a developmentally appropriate program designed to enhance children’s growth socially, cognitively, physically and spiritually. Our goal is to provide a positive and enriching experience for every child in a loving, Christian environment. Our experienced staff accomplishes this by planning fun and challenging activities to encourage children’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm.
The New Philly Fives Pre-K class is for children who will be five years old by August 31. It meets five mornings per week. This class is for students who have completed the 4’s and would benefit from another year of learning in a smaller, half day preschool class.
Our regular school day runs from 9 am to 12 noon. We do have a option to register for an extended day that runs until 1 pm and includs lunch time (lunchers bring their own lunch and beverage).
Children registering for a certain age class must be that age by August 31. For example, a child in the 3-year-old class must be three by August 31. All children attending New Philadelphia Preschool must have a completed medical form on file with the director on the first day of school. Forms are available online or in the preschool office.
Our wonderful staff is composed of talented and nurturing individuals. They regularly attend professional workshops and conferences to keep updated. Employee turnover is at a minimum.
We encourage you to share your time and talents with us! “PALS” is a volunteer organization open to all New Philadelphia parents. Activities include planning fun events for children and families. Roundtable discussions provide parental support, fun and fellowship.
